The goal of the leadership
circle is to provide a wellness of mind, body, and spirit for young
women by targeting under served populations.
Eye of the Artists Foundation,
a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization founded by artist/poet Annie Ruth,
is spear-heading this unique effort to help educate and empower young
women through celebrating sisterhood, the arts, education, and literacy.
My Sista, My Friend is a 12-month development mentoring and teaching
format that benefits sisters ages 14– 19.
The
My Sista, My Friend Leadership Development Circle puts women into action!
Actively making a difference. Our young women are literally dying in
the streets and it takes the power of sisters (collectively)
to make a difference.
